Today, we celebrate the life and legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr. Last night, as I read My Brother Martin: A Sister Remembers Growing Up with the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. to my son, I was struck by this line: "And my brother M.L. (Martin Luther, King Jr.) looked up into our mother's face and said the words I remember to this day. He said, "Mother Dear, one day I'm going to turn this world upside down." And as we know, he grew up to do just that.

Today's random internet digest is dedicated to all the people who decided a change needed to be made in the world, and that they would be the ones to do it.

MLK, Jr. gave his Nobel prize money to the cause.
