Today is Election Day in the U.S. and voters have turned out in droves to cast their ballots for the midterm elections. Politicians have been out campaigning and asking everyone to get out and vote- which is to be expected- but they're not the only ones who have been encouraging others to do their civic duty.
Celebrities like Amber Ruffin, Kerry Washington, Kumail Nanjiani, Selena Gomez, and Julianne Moore have been vocal about voting and/or voting for a specific candidate. Whether it's on a concert stage, through their social media account, or by painting themselves (Mandy Patinkin and Kathryn Grody), celebrities are using their considerable platforms to promote voting.
